1.Quick summary
Lenzia stores the minimum it needs to work: your server's configuration and a short rolling window of recent messages from the channel it chats in. It does not read direct messages, does not store emails or passwords, costs nothing, and sells data to no one. Remove the bot from your server and its configuration is deleted.
2.What data we store
Discord identifiers
- Server ID, IDs of configured channels, and IDs of roles assigned to bot features.
- ID and display name of users who interact with the bot in the configured channel.
Messages
- Conversation history: up to the 10 most recent messages per configured channel (author, text, and timestamp). Each new message pushes out the oldest one.
- Style samples: up to 8 messages per user, so the bot can match the tone of the conversation.
- Moderation log: when a rule triggers, we store the text of the message involved, the reason, the channel, the author, and the timestamp.
Configuration and activity
- Server settings: chat channel, log channel, active moderation rules, limits, excluded channels, and reply frequency.
- Warnings issued (reason, moderator, and timestamp).
- Daily activity streaks and karma points per user.
- The roles a member held when they left the server, so they can be restored if they return.
Tickets
- If you open a ticket, we store the thread, your user ID, the status of the request, and any files you submit along with the result of their automated analysis.
3.What we do NOT store
- Direct messages (DMs). The bot only works inside servers.
- Messages from channels that are not configured, except for the one-off log entry when a moderation rule triggers.
- Email addresses, passwords, tokens, or any Discord account data beyond your user ID and display name.
- Payment or card details: the bot is free and processes no payments.
- IP addresses, location, or device information.
- Audio, video, or anything from voice channels.
4.How we use the data
- To give the bot context for its replies within a conversation.
- To detect spam, scams, and content that breaks the server's rules.
- To remember the configuration each server has chosen.
- To track streaks, karma, warnings, and community roles.
- To diagnose bot errors.
We do not use this data for advertising, commercial profiling, or training our own models, and we do not sell or hand it over to third parties for commercial purposes.
5.Who it is shared with
Only with the services required for the bot to work:
- Discord Inc. — the platform the bot runs on. Governed by its Privacy Policy.
- An AI provider (OpenAI). To generate replies and evaluate moderation, fragments of the message and of the channel's recent history are sent. Only the text and the author's display name are included, nothing else.
- Live Spars (live.spars.pro) — only if an administrator links the server to receive stream announcements. In that case, the server ID and the chosen channel ID are shared.
We may also disclose data if legally required to do so by a competent authority.
6.How long it is kept
- Conversation history: rolling. Only the 10 most recent messages per channel exist; the rest is deleted automatically.
- Style samples: rolling, maximum 8 per user.
- Moderation logs, warnings, streaks, and karma: kept as long as the bot remains on the server.
- When the bot is kicked from a server: that server's configuration, rules, excluded channels, and associated roles are deleted.
- Backups: the database is backed up daily and those backups are rotated periodically. Deleted data may survive in a backup until that backup is recycled.
7.Where and how it is stored
Data lives in a SQLite database on a private server (VPS) managed by the developer. Access is restricted to the administrator account, web traffic is encrypted over HTTPS, and there is no public interface that exposes the database.
No system is 100% secure: we cannot absolutely guarantee that an incident will never happen.
8.Your rights
You may request at any time:
- Access: to know what data about you is stored.
- Deletion: to have your stored messages, style samples, karma, streaks, and logs erased.
- Correction: to fix inaccurate data.
Message lestgiann on Discord with your Discord user ID. We respond within 30 days.
Fast track for administrators: kicking the bot from your server automatically deletes that server's configuration and data, with no need to contact anyone.
9.Minors
The bot is not directed at children under 13, or at anyone below the minimum age Discord requires in their country. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we detect or are informed of such a case, we delete the data.
10.Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its date shown above. If a change is significant, notice will be given through the bot's channels.
